GROVE FARM PARK

The client required an extensive re-work of their home to create more space for their  family and to entertain guests. This involved a new rear double storey extension, garage conversion and re-shaping of the existing floors below  to create an open plan per the client’s preferences. A high-end, modern interior finish with efficient storage solutions was part of brief.

 

Main design features,

 

•Floating staircase- Sole staircase in the house which client requested look exquisite. The increased  transparency complements small open floor lobby.

•Triple height lobby- Introduction of two roof light and additional vaulted volume from the loft completely transformed the lobby space. The angle of the vaulted ceiling was designed to direct the sun light throughout the day into the previously dark spaces.

•Double height Master bedroom- New rear first floor introduced a new Master Bedroom giving the grandiosity and distinctiveness  required for a property of this size. Roof lights help to accentuate the height of the space whilst also bringing in more light.

Interior designing

 

•Black palette created a timeless and modern look with the warmth and tactile qualities of the timber making it homely.

•Plenty of hidden storage was achieved by cleverly designed unit above gas fire place with black slate stone ply

​

•Egger board was used in all the front facing elevation in Kitchen and media unit

​

•3d Wall panels offered a deep pattern and with lighting created interest  in a previously a dead wall

​

•Each item is sensibly chosen among a variety of lavish design brands , combining ethnic ambiances with a sleek and modern design.
