A proposal was to create a two-storey extension which opens towards a lush and generous garden filled with trees. The biggest challenge was dealing with the unconventional floor plan and achieving a layout that was practical. Careful sequencing of interior and exterior spaces gave an overwhelming feeling of openness and connection.

This project involves a chic extension to a Victorian mid-terraced house located in a
conservation area in Fulham, along with refurbishment efforts throughout the rest of
the residence for a couple and their teenage daughter. They sought a creative
transformation of their newly purchased home, and the plans entailed stripping the
house down to its core structure and beginning anew.

The property is situated in a conservation area. The current residence features a neo-Georgian architectural style. The proposed design complements the existing house with a brick arched motif, which is integral to the architectural style, thereby maintaining the character and aesthetic of the neo-Georgian design.
