HEMPSTEAD ROAD

One of the aim of the project was to create a sense of unity between the back garden and the house, allowing nature and light to play a significant role in the daily activities of the family - turning the open plan into a sort of transitional space between the two. Retaining wall designed to hold on the garden also acted as internal wall for kitchen/dining space. Two levels of living space was created with visual connection through an opening on the first floor within open plan. First floor living room acted as private cinema space with a better view and connection to the garden.
